saturday night i received a phone call that a guy that i had grown up with had committed suicide. the news broke my heart. his parents loved their son so much and they tried to help him, but there wasn't much they could do. he had gotten involved with drugs at an early age and as he got older the hold was more powerful. his mind had deteriorated in the past few years. every time he got high he would try to commit suicide. six times he tried and failed. his family tried to be there with him as much as possible, but no one could be with him all the time. Unfortunately the seventh time he succeeded. his family is taking it very hard. please keep them in your prayers.
